Stella the Elephant | Brain Buddy Weighted Stuffed Animal

For the child who needs a little more predictability, a familiar routine, and a reminder: “I’m here with you.”

Meet Stella, the Brain Buddy for Stability. This crocheted, weighted elephant brings Stella’s character into the moments you share with your child, from reading together to talking through a change in plans.

In the Brain Buddy teaching, Stella represents Stability and is paired with the brain stem. Her story gives families a child-friendly way to explore the need to feel safe and know what to expect.

Stella is more than a character to learn about. She can be a familiar companion while you practice a routine, name what your child needs, or pause together before the next step.

Try starting with: “What would help things feel more predictable right now?”

Stability is one of the seven essential needs at the heart of the Brain Buddies, alongside Connection, Acceptance, Value, Honesty, Clarity, and Trust.
